| Lets see, I have a wonderfuly isolated life, and can see by the posts here that there are people in this world who feel the same, people who are slightly different, slightly older maybe but essentially the same. I wonder if I can tempt everyone to make a post here, stating what they find in the world that they live for, because essentially as depressed as you may feel there is a reason that you are still alive, and the passion for this 'thing'is what gives you life. My personal passion is art, all forms of it and creativity. Music, Writing, Film and of course paintings. I write, as I think I've mentioned before. That's why I live, I create and therefore make myself feel as if there is a reason for my existance. I'm on medicine for my depression, so this has made my life a great deal easier, yet i still struggle from time to time with Psychological issues. Anyway look forward to hearing from people. | |

| Maul Twilight - please tell me how i may find out if my depression can be treated, i've been on medicine that's over the counter but mostly just vitamins and pain killers, they don't work.... my mood swings are enormous, i don't know if i'm bipolar... i wish i knew...
i live for skating... graffiti... and music... and video games.... but video games just take up time, and music is just supressing pain and graffiti gets me in trouble, and i never have enough energy for skating....i'm only alive because i'm a pussy and cant do the real thing i want to do...

Hey Tobias man, I went to specialist in Bi-polar and apprently I am. because with Depression usually you just stay low right? Well maybe you might get excited by like someone acknoledging you or inviting you over or something, and you'll suddenly be really happy about it and get heaps of energy, you might talk faster than usual to try and get all your thoughts out in a blur; almost a complete contrast to how you feel normally. That most probably means your Bi-polar if its the case. I don't have all that massive swings but apparently its what I got, I'm on a thing called Valpro which is actually a medecine for epilepcy, but it keeps moods stable as well as preventing fits. LOL Do your parents know about the way you feel? Or is it that you think they don't care? I don't know your family man so i can't say anything for sure but what I will say is that you have no idea how much seeing a Psycologist can help you; its a way of changing your views on things; on life. They re-lean your brain in subtle ways that you don't even realise at first and then it suddenly hits you that they've made you more open minded and free about yourself and the world around you. Sure it takes time (doesn't everythin) but hey if it helps it's worth it.

| it's not that my parents don't care... it's that i don't tell them and i try to hide it, and i'm usualy skating or in my room playing videogames so they never really see me... and when they do i don't think they think anything of the little things... or just don't accept what is happening... your definition for bi-polar is just like how i feel... to close to be anything else... but how to i tell my parents i think i'm bi-polar... they'd think i'm crazy or just a stupid teen thinking bad thoughts....and the whole phys-what ever doctor person sounds good but i'm sure it's alot of money.... my parents would make me pay.... how much does yours cost? i kinda just wish i could be at my high all the time with out the hiding thoughts in the back of my head that i could think about for a second and know that my mood is changing before it even does and before i finish thinking on the thought it's changed and i think of "ending" thoughts.... | |

| Top of the list: Music. Definitly. Then it's digital art and animation, so yeah, mainly 3D for me. I've been lacking a bit of motivation as of late, but I know it'll return. Just really need a bit of a time out, sort some stuff out. Photography is actually something that really interests me aswell, but I'm not too good with a camera myself. I just really enjoy going through some galleries from time to time, seeing the world through these artists eyes. Actually, I just really enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of other people, to try and understand them, and maybe even help them if possible. Pffff what else... | |
