Perhaps it is another name for Cognetive Behavioural Therapy which is the stuff i did, it certainly sounds too much like to for it to be coincidence. If it is the same then all I can say is you probably will be expecting dramatic changes in your thought patterns right from the get-go, however it is so subtle and subconcious that your tihnking gets moulded without you even knowing it and you can suddenly actually see positives where they did not exist before. Its amazing. I was in awe, and thanked my psychologist for what he had done...he opened my mind to so much, of course I still get my low points, but thanks to his therapy I can see ways of getting around them. But it is a very gradual process, it takes time to adapt your thinking, but it soooo worth it in the end. | |
