Hello

Well i have some information wich i would like to share about this subject.Several months ago a psychologist recomended me to read a book about mental ilness not only depression. It's writen by a doctor and psychiatrist wich went to the states to deeply study our brain. This book refers the author's personal experience with his patients and various studies to support these treatments:

exercise - it has proved great results against depression. The autor only talks about jogging and cycling but doesn't exclued other forms of exercise.Even someting like fast walking 3 times a week 30m every time works. The goal is not the olympic games you run 5m 1º day, 5m 2º day... and slowly increase the time of every run.

fish oil - our brain needs to acids to work omega-6 and omega-3.o6 will make the comunication between brain cells rusty and slow as long that o3 will make them work properly. In western society consumption ratio o3/o6 goes from 1/10 to 1/20.Perfectly it should be 1/1.In asia do to fish and crustaceous consumption depression is 12 times less comon.Oil fish is highly concentrated in o3 thats why it's used against depression.it also cames in pills

well having a pet is also a good antidote but it must be a mamal.Friendship and love has this book proves are also antidotes against depression.

Every day that goes by new treatments are getting availeable Surprised

That sounds about right, depression IS a medical condition that is both treatable and real.
I know many people who have it in their head that people with depression are just lazy people who don't want to face life but we are genuinely ill, just not in a physical sense.
The problem with it is that it is a disease of the mind and to be honest the mind comes in two different catagories; the chemical/organic catagory and the mental/thinking side of things where psychology can help but not necessarily smooth out the problems being created by a sick brain. So really you need both medecine and counselling to get better, and I now after these two things feel much better. I am still on the medecine and probably always will be but i don't exactly wake up wishing i could die anymore which is a great thing for me.

Cute cat. I love my cat to death, wouldn't be able to miss him. And I've always apprecciated love from a cat more than from a dog, it just feels more voluntary. If a cat doesn't like you, he'll be sure to show it. Or leave :p.
